[[w:Light|Light]] is the thing we define as the visible part of the spectrum of [[w:Electromagnetic wave|electromagnetic waves]].

With the help of the [[w:Impulse|impulse]] of a particle and the impulse of a(n) (electromagnetic) wave, evidence for light being a stream of [[w:Elementary particle|particles]] and vice versa can be found.

The impulse/momentum of a [[w:Elementary particle|"normal particle"]] is defined as:

A scientist named [[w:Louis, 7th duc de Broglie|Louis de Broglie]] found that the [[w:Wavelength|wavelength]] of an electromagnetic wave can be approached with [[w:Planck's constant|planck's constant]] and the impulse of the waves. The formula looks like this:

<math>\lambda = {h \over p}</math>

or

<math>p(\text{EM}) = {h \over \lambda}</math>

Applying <math>p = mv</math>, we get: 

<math>\lambda = {h \over {mv}}</math>

Rearranging the above equation, we have:

<math>{h \over \lambda} = mv</math>

Which is equivalent to:

<math>p(\text{EM}) = p(\text{particle})</math>

Therefore, we conclude that an electromagnetic wave is just a stream of particles and vice-versa.
