Introduction

Dyanmics is also another fancy word that physicists use.

Relevant dot points from the Study Design

  • apply Newton’s three laws of motion to a body on which forces act: a=Fnetm, Fon A by B=Fon B by A
  • apply concepts of momentum to linear motion: p = mv
  • explain changes in momentum as being caused by a net force: Fnet=ΔpΔt

This section will also introduce the concept of "impulse" and "kinetic energy" which is implicit in other dot points but not a separate dotpoint.
