Summary

Description
English: A series of panels, each depicting an oriented surface and its counterclockwise oriented boundary. The surface normal vectors are depicted by the red arrows. The counterclockwise oriented boundary has the property that the surface is on the left hand side when following boundary. This determines the orientation of the inner boundary of the annular surface in the 4th panel.
