A polynomial is any curve that can be described by the set of numbers $\{a_0,a_1,...,a_n\}$ such that $f(x)=a_n{x}^n+a_{n-1}{x}^{n-1}+...+a_{1}x+a_0$, or alternatively

$f(x)=\sum _{k=0}^n{a}_k{x}^k$
